Text contributions
  If you are submitting Text script please make sure that they are simple files. Do not format them using TABS etc.
Website Standards
 
  • This site has been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
  • Graphics have been kept at a minimum due to the speed of downloads. (remember most people are using Analog modems to access the web)
    The site has been optimized for 28.8 modem connection

    Where ever possible we have tried to standardized on Microsoft Products.
    (we know they are better products available in some cases but Microsoft products are most widely used and readily available)
    *Microsoft FrontPage 2000
    *Microsoft Office 2000
    *Microsoft ACTIVEX support
    *Microsoft Media (So we can utilize the Microsoft media Player already incorporated in Windows)

  • All Items have to be approved by the WEBMASTER  before they can be placed on the website.
  • All Islamic Documents have to be with approved by our Imam to be placed on the website.
  • NO CONTROVERSIAL MATERIAL  to be placed on the site.
    ICNEF is for ALL MUSLIMS we do not want to hurt anyone's feeling. (no political statements please).
  • In most cases Please send all articles etc. in Plain ASCII (text) format as embeddings  in the email (COPY and PASTE the article in the body of the text Please. No attachments.)
  • All pages submitted will be reformatted to comply with the site standards, so please do not Over Format.
  • if you have suggestions  PLEASE FREE TO SEND them to us.  ALL CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS will be REVIEWED by the WEBMASTER and for implementation.

 
Page Changes
  Feel free to download and / or copy any page you think could use improvements.. Make the appropriate changes and send the page over to the Web Designer

  Feel free to submit our site to other sites you may visit. but please send a message to the website Developer about what you have done.
Submitting to Search Engines:
  Most search engines have automated "SPAM" Stoppers. If one site is submitted more than once.  ALL submissions are automatically deleted.
So Please do not submit to Search Engines without sending a message to the WebDesigner
Scripts
  Where ever possible we have tried to use ACTIVEX, However for some features JAVA and PEARL scripts have been implemented. ALL Scripts should be written by the contributor and / or have permission from the Programmer to implement at our site. PLEASE SUBMIT your scripts with the following information to the WebDesigner
  • Source Code.
  • Exactly what the script does and why should we include it in this site.
  • README.TXT file with Exact instructions how to implement the script.
  • Where we can go to get help in case the script has bugs
  • Any other information which will be helpful to the WebDesigner
What we are  looking to add to the website
Audio  Recitations / Text of the Holy Qur'an Make sure that you write to the publisher ask there consent to use their material for this purpose. (most publishers of Islamic Material do not have a problem with this). This Consent should state clearly that ICNEF has their permission to use their material for our website.
  • Translations of the Holy Qur'an in different languages
    please make sure that you send these in the form of an EXCEL SPREAD SHEET in the following format
    If it is in NON ENGLISH SCRIPT please give us suggestions as what would be the best method to publish them

    Please include as much information about the Author as possible so we can make a specific section for that.

    Example for english script Sura Al-Fatiha will should be send in this format.

Support in different languages
  We would like to translate and support this site in as many languages as possible. If you know another language please help in that language. We will help you learn how to design the website... you create and manage the site in your language.

Immediate need:  Bosnian, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, Farsi

Converting audio CASSETTES into Digital
  Our plans are to Publish the Imams Khutbas, Tafseer and his recitation of the  in audio format on the internet for everyone to enjoy.

Proof Reading the website
  We are trying our best to keep the website error free. But there might be errors in the site. Please inform the WebDesigner of any errors you have found as soon as possible so they can be corrected. (Please make sure to list the name of the page and the error.

 Make Islamic Web Banners, you can make as many as you want to.  Please view the banners on Yahoo! similar to that. Just related with islam.

Please keep the size 230 X 33 pixels

We need both ANIMATED GIF as well sa STATIC GIFS.

(We are sure that you can comeup with GIFs for DAWAH Purposes to be placed in other websites)
Do you own a Scanner? help us scan and OCR literature to the website
