Senior Consultant

Responsibilities include application and system level programming using Visual C++, Visual Basic and CORBA tool kit library. Also, Nabnasset CTI deployment, administration, monitoring servers' status, gather requirements, design, development of front-end client applications to CTI servers, and support the Nabnasset CTI architecture on an ongoing basis.

  • Designed and developed Agent VDN Transfer report that has capability of generating report with the information required by the client. This report shows the number of calls transferred into the VDN and from the VDN. A graphical view was also provided for each VDN. It can be printed, saved as in any format such as: HTML, MS EXCEL, Text File etc.
  • Designed and developed an application to generate Nabnasset CTI error messages which are meaningful to the users. This application has capability to allow developers to define error messages by entering from a GUI interface and then it generates C++ code that can be used in CTI applications as API.
  • Developed and delivered IVR applications on Lucent Technologies Conversant systems. These systems include: Kraft San Antonio Recipe, Switch Announcement French Wait Time, Front End.
  • Provided support and developed scripts using UNIX Shell, PL/SQL to integrate SAP Employee Care products with Conversant IVR System.
  • Modified and developed Data Interface Processes (DIP) and verified for Y2K compliance. These processes are used to exchange data from IVR Systems to Relational Databases and were written in UNIX/C.
  • Developed data interface scripts using Shell and PL/SQL for ORACLE to gather calls data from all Conversant IVR productions machines and move it to the reporting UNIX machine.
Software is deployed on a large network of UNIX and NT based computers using Nabnasset CTI, Lucent’s Conversant based IVR Script Builder, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Power Builder and ORACLE Relational Database.

Barnett Technologies, Inc.; Jacksonville, Florida 3/1996- 3/1998

Senior Technical Analyst

Led teams of highly technical software developers for the support and development of mortgage origination software. Responsibilities included coaching, building and guiding a self directed team, project planning, designing, coordinating development and implementation. Also, obtain user concurrence and sign-off on requirements and implementation plans. Handled multiple projects at a time and completed within budget and time frame.

  • Provided technical support and maintained mortgage origination system on 150+ branch computers nationwide.
  • Designed and developed trouble ticket tracking system to keep track of trouble tickets initiated by the Help Desk. S-Designer was used for data modeling and Power Builder 5.0 and Power Builder Foundation Class Library (PFC) for application development.
  • Designed and managed the development of a financial system to keep track of all the disbursements to maintain the repossessed property. System also computes the profit or loss after the property is sold. This project was completed using SQL/ESQL, Cursors and Store Procedures in SYBASE System II database.
Software was deployed on a large network of Intel based computers via Novell NetWare using Power Builder, Microsoft Windows and SYBASE System II and SQL Anywhere databases in client/server environment. The software was controlled through PVCS version control and delivered using TIVOLI over the BLIN network.

AT&T Universal Card Services; Jacksonville, Florida 1992-1996

Information Systems Specialist

As a systems engineer, was responsible for analysis, application and relational database design, development, and implementation. As a lead application engineer, was responsible for providing technical solutions and project coordination. Worked on mission critical projects providing solutions to the credit card business.

  • Led team of developers, designed and developed application for Claims department to collect fee from merchant banks for non receipt drafts increasing collection more than 30%. The saving to the organization was over $200,000 per year.
  • Designed and developed application for fraud investigation team to prepare the fraud cases which are used to investigate and collect money lost in fraudulent credit card transactions. Savings exceeded over $300K.
  • Designed and developed application enabling timely notification about fraudulent credit card transactions. Saving over $250,000 was realized.
  • Managed and designed application tracking productive and non-productive time entered on-line by associates.
  • Designed and developed journal ledger application to adjust journal ledger and export data to ORACLE financial reducing paper work by 50%.
Software was deployed on a large network of a few thousand Sun Workstations and PCs via Novell NetWare using PowerBuilder, UNIX/C, MS/X Windows and ORACLE database in client/server environment.

IBM; Kingston, NY. 1991-1992

  • Designed and developed a translator to migrate mainframe graphics data to ORACLE database.
  • Developed prototype interface with ObjectStore (ODBMS) using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++.
The system was implemented in C Language, ORACLE database, on IBM RS/6000 platform using AIX OS and X-Windows environment (OSF/Motif).

McDonnell Douglas Systems Integration(MDSI), Florham Park, NJ. 1988-1991

Douglas Aircraft Company; Columbus, OH:

  • Designed, developed, and implemented input/output layouts. Created and normalized ORACLE database on HP-9000 platform.
  • Designed quality reports, data flow diagrams, database modeling using ORACLE SQL*Plus and Prokit*Workbench.
  • Provided technical support for CAD/CAM package Unigraphics developed by McDonnell Douglas.
The system was implemented in C and ORACLE on HP-9000 platform using HP-UX OS and X-Windows environment (OSF/Motif).

Computer Science Corporation; Mooresetown, NJ: Designed and developed systems for Army Computer Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support System (Army CALS). Developed Telecommunications Specifications and Interface Design documents. The system was implemented in C, SYBASE using SUN SPARC Servers under Sun OS with Sun View user interface.

AT&T Bell Labs.; Lincroft, NJ: Provided software support for the Centralized System Management (CSM) system that provided user interface to administer the integrated electronic switches (PBXs) such as: AT&T's System 75, System 85, Dimension and Definity 75/85.

The system was implemented in C and INFORMIX database using 3B2/X machines under UNIX System V.

JMA Technology; Dayton, NJ. 1985-1988

Consultant

Provided software support and installation of UNIX based PBX software and system administration on UNIX based systems. Developed and supported PBX software on various UNIX platforms. Developed and taught various UNIX/OS based courses such as: C Language, Bourne Shell, EX/VI Editors and UNIX overview.
